The Candiru is, from outward appearances, a luxury pleasure craft. That is what pilot Kyle Masters wants you to believe. In actuality, he has used most of the internal volume for extra engine machinery and smuggling storage. Most of the life support and crew facilities have been moved forward into the "neck" of the ship. The weapons are all hidden, but with a flick of a switch, can lay down a blistering salvo of fire. Masters generally prefers to outrun attackers with the overpowered engines, but the Candiru is well able to defend itself.
